Yummy Stuff:

A collection of tasty and healthy recipes for the cyclist.

Welcome friends to the "Yummy Stuff" section of Get-Into-Cycling.com. So what should I eat ? Is there a specific diet that I should consider now that I am getting into cycling? Just like other sports, nutrition is one of the key ingredients that will help you achieve your goals. Whether that goal is to lose or gain weight, build strength, develop lean powerful muscles, overcome or control a medical problem such as: high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, etc., proper nutrition combined with exercise is a must.

My brothers and I have heard over the years of people complaining that if you want to be fit that you must eat foods that taste awful and that you can never eat this or that. On the contrary, healthy eating doesn't have to be bland and boring. And that's what this section is all about: Food that is both tasty AND nutritious.

Now we have been into cycling and fitness for many years and during our journey, we have experimented with diets, nutritional plans and just food in general. What we discovered was that it is quite difficult to stick to just one method. This led us to become creative, so we started to invent recipes to entertain our palates but also fuel our bodies with the proper nutrients. "Yummy Stuff" is a collection of recipes that will hopefully satisfy your taste buds and help you stay fit as well. Plus, this section will include recipes submitted by you, our readers, as well. So if you have a recipe you'd like to share, don't forget to send it to us via our contact us page. And don't forget to check out our section on nutrition for more tips on proper eating. Happy riding and enjoy the food!
